Dhemaji City College upholds high standards of discipline, character, and academic integrity. Every student is expected to follow the college’s code of conduct to maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning, respect, and responsibility.

Discipline and Attendance Rules

  1. Importance has been given to discipline and character building, and students are expected to maintain a high standard of conduct.
  2. Students must abide by all rules and regulations as prescribed by the college authorities. Irregular attendance, misconduct, or unfair practices during examinations will invite disciplinary action.
  3. Regular attendance is compulsory. Students must attend at least 75% of the total classes; otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear in the final examination.
  4. Internal examinations such as Unit Tests, Terminal Tests, and Sessional Examinations are mandatory for all students.
  5. All matters relating to discipline are under the jurisdiction of the Principal, whose decision shall be final.

Red Ribbon Club

The college has an active Red Ribbon Club under the guidance of the Assam State AIDS Control Society. The club promotes awareness on HIV/AIDS, health, and hygiene among students through talks, seminars, and activities.

It organizes awareness programs on campus, essay competitions, and quizzes focusing on HIV prevention and youth engagement.
