About NSS Unit

Dhemaji City College has an active National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit functioning under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The unit aims to inculcate social responsibility, leadership qualities, and community engagement among students through voluntary service like blood donation, Cleanliness drive, Plantation drive, awareness programaiming to provide practical community engagement for student volunteers as part of the central government's Youth affairs and sports ministry of India initiative.

Special Camp

The NSS unit has adopted Kopohuwa Gaon as its village. A 7-day Special Camp is organised regularly focusing on rural development, sanitation, health awareness, and social interaction.
